Nation's Garden - Ayçiçeği Cycling Valley

The traffic situation of the route is calm after leaving the city centre, except for rush hours. The road conditions are two lanes and a straight route. There is a short training track and a mountain biking and BMX track at the destination. There are gas stations and a few bakeries along the way.

The route, which starts from the National Garden, ends at a facility in Sakarya where the heart of cycling beats its strongest. When it comes to Sakarya and two-wheeled sport, Sunflower Cycling Valley is a route that you must see and experience. The valley, which is active almost every month of the year, has been hosting the most important organisations of the world cycling in recent years. Many international events, from the 2020 World Mountain Bike Marathon Championship to the 2021 UCI BMX World Cup Series are held in the Sunflower Cycling Valley. Not to forget the Sakarya MTB Cup, which has now become a classic, and the last stage of the 55th Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye where Sakarya was designated as the starting point. This giant sports complex, which opened its doors in September 2018, is one of the rare facilities in the world for competitive cycling. In recent years, the overall look of the valley has been improved. At the end of the day, you can take a pleasant break in the valley, sip your coffee at the Cycling Cafe (Bisiklet Kıraathanesi), or dine at the facilities overlooking Sakarya. Cycling on the valley asphalt, where so many world-famous athletes have pedalled to victory, should be the dream of every cyclist.
